Maxwest Android 320 Price, Specifications, Review, Features

The Maxwest Android 320 is an entry-level smartphone and the latest to announce its entry into the ever-growing market of Android Smartphones. It is a low-end slim phone with some basic features and has been brought into the market to suit the needs of users who want a cheap but handy Android based smartphone to use popular apps like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp etc. Though there is a large competition in the smartphone market and there are various other products which are available at similar rate, it will be interesting to see how the Maxwest Android 320 fares along with its competitors.

Maxwest Android 320 Specifications

Taking a look at its features, it has a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels and a pixel density of 165 PPI. It weighs 105 gram and is powered by a 1 GHz CPU. It is nicely built and has a sleek and compact design. It is comfortable to hold and appears stylish. It has an internal memory of 512MB and supports external micro SD card up to 32GB. But it has only 256 MB RAM which drastically affects the performance of the device and causes many lags and hindrances. Many basic apps and games run smoothly, but big apps and heavy games are difficult to use on this device and require a lot of patience.

Maxwest Android 320 Camera

It runs on the Android OS version 4.0, which is popularly known as Ice-cream sandwich. It also has Bluetooth v2.0 and a micro USB v2.0 slot is present as well. Wi-Fi is available for surfing the web. It has a 2MP rear camera with features like geo-tagging and touch focus. It does not have a LED Flash which makes it difficult to click pictures in low or dim light. Moreover the quality of pictures is too bad and the pictures look dull and lack focus, detail, crispness and sharpness. It records videos at 480p and 30fps, but again, the video quality is bad and the videos look pixelated and blurred.

Maxwest Android 320 Features

Its other features include an accelerometer sensor and Stereo FM. GPS is also provided to track accurate locations. It has a 1,450 mAh battery, which despite not being much is very efficient for this device due to its small screen size. The battery easily lasts for about a whole day with a full charge with mild usage. But with continuous surfing of web and playing videos, it lasts for only about 6 to 7 hours. The standby time though is 600 hours whereas the talk time is 12 hours.

Maxwest Android 320 Price

To conclude we can say that even at a low price, this is not the product what one would like to have as the device lacks behind its competitors even in its price range in terms of almost everything. The performance is slow, display is weak and camera is really poor. Though we cannot have many expectations at such a low price, but still the phone definitely doesn’t provide value for money and there is no single reason why one should not go for other better products and buy this.
