NIU Niutek 3.5B Specifications
The physical size of the screen is 3.5” and is a TFT capacitive touch screen supporting 16M colors. It has a pixel ratio of 320 x 480 pixels (~165 PPI pixel density) while is quite low density comparing other phones out there today. Also the display is multi touch. The phone includes a 3.2 MP rear camera with camcorder support. But the camera lacks flash ad autofocus. It also includes a 0.3 MP front camera but the camera quality will be low because of it being a VGA camera. The camera includes features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection etc.
NIU Niutek 3.5B Processor
It includes a single core processor of 1000 MHz with a graphic processor with pre-installed Android 2.3. But with only 512 Mb ROM and 256 Mb RAM, it is a very low spec phone. It is not capable of playing all the apps available in the store due to its very low RAM. The storage can be expanded with the help of micro SD, micro SDHC up to 32 GB. Coming in black and white colors, the multimedia features in the phone include music players, Stereo FM radio, and Recording option for Radio. Also one can play YouTube videos due to presence of Flash and can connect to an Analogue TV. It also has in-built browsing support for YouTube (upload), Picasa and Google+.
NIU Niutek 3.5B Features
One good thing about the Niutek 3.5b is that it can support EDGE and GPRS features. The EDGE can provide data speed of up to 60 kbps. The battery is a Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery. It ca provide up to standby charge of Up to 713 h (2G) / Up to 428 h (3G) whereas the charge drains in about 15 hours (2G) / 6 hours (3G) during regular talking on the phone.
The phone is a decent enough buy and is able to beat off competition from its rivals but i would have preferred it to have a lot more RAM than it presently has and a better pixel screen density ratio as it would kill off the competition in its price range with the help of other specs it includes.
